Afghani #1

SEN-afghani1
The plants from the fast, heavy, compact side of the cannabis family tree are named after India, and it’s true that these strains are commonly grown for charas in the mountainous north of the country. However, the most perfect examples of the dark, ultra-resinous Cannabis Indica genotype are actually found hundreds of kilometres to the northwest, in the mountains of Afghanistan.
Dedicated students of Indica bloodlines often refer to these varieties as ‘Afghanica’ when speaking of their favourites and as ‘hash plants’ when talking generally of the strains found across India, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The very best parents from our unparalleled range of Afghani cultivars have been distilled into a single seed variety that gives growers textbook examples of the Afghanica genotype every time. Anyone looking for a compact, fast easy-growing indoor strain capable of copious yields and almost-frightening resin production need look no further. Whether growers want uniform crops from seed or outstanding pure Indica mother plants to fill their flowering space with dynamic dark green clones, Afghani #1 has it covered.

American Dream

SEN-americandream
By enhancing our elite Afghan-Skunk genotypes with a delicate blend of Jamaican and Hawaiian Sativas, Sensi has created American Dream, a strain which gives growers the best of both worlds – connoisseur quality and cash-cropper quantity. American Dream produces avalanches of hard, fist-sized buds that bristle with spiky pistils and glisten with a slick coating of trichomes. This very special strain has a sparkling, silly stone-high and a pungent, earthy Skunk flavour that complements her fruity island notes.
Large yields are easy with intensive SOG-style cultivation or larger, multi-stem plants. In the greenhouse or outside in warm climates, American Dream can reach the size of a young fir tree, with staggering harvests of bud that can bend even her sturdy Skunk frame. A third meaning of her name may become clear when admiring American Dream in full bloom – the frosted, fragrant, weighty plants of this variety are an excellent symbol of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Big Bud

SEN-bigbud
The first Big Bud was a sturdy Afghanica infused with Skunk genes — a hybrid possessing unusual vigour and unexpected, record-breaking production. Distributed in clone form, Big Bud quickly became a popular commercial strain. When those original clones made it to Holland, they gave rise to several stable seed-strains, including a back-cross with Skunk #1 and a very popular hybrid of 75%BB-25%NL#1. The current, award-winning incarnation of Big Bud was made possible by two important developments. Firstly, intensive research allowed Sensi to identify the genotype and precise geographical origin of the Afghani cultivar behind the first Big Bud. Secondly, the expansion of our gene-stock in the early Nineties gave Sensi breeders access to a prime example of that very strain.
With these two breakthroughs, we were able to take Big Bud back to her roots. Sensi’s final, back-crossed hybrid recaptures the vigour of the original clone and benefits further from sweet, fruity flavours and a great improvement in potency. Naturally, enormous production remains the central feature of the Big Bud seed-strain. Plants requiring the full flowering time will grow a little taller and are usually the heaviest-yielding examples. Big Bud’s stems are thick and sturdy, yet the masses of giant, sweet, sparkling buds they produce can grow heavy enough to bend and even snap them, so the most promising branches should be supported with string or tensioned wire
Flowering: 50-65 days
Height: 110-150 cm
Yield: up to 150 gr

Black Domina

SEN-blackdomina
Dark, delicious and devastating - Black Domina blends the world's finest Indica genetics into a rapid-flowering, crystal-coated hybrid whose distinct looks set her apart from the crowd. Four prime examples of Cannabis Afghanica have been combined in this fast and easy strain. Domina expresses desirable features from the elite Indica genotypes Northern Lights, Ortega, Hash Plant and Afghani SA, making her equally suited to the needs of cash croppers, ganja gourmets and first-time growers. Black Domina grown from seed will display favourable phenotype variation, always with strong Indica characteristics - speed, density, compact stature and amazing resin production - giving any Domina female the potential to be a rewarding, productive mother plant. The phenotype known as the definitive Domina lady can be spotted early in vegetation by her extra height-gain, black-green foliage and huge fan leaves made up of slightly elongated blades. Later in flowering, a massive, sparkling, nearly-spherical central cola makes this phenotype unmistakeable. Growers who are serious about cloning should select their darkest Domina females as 'mistress plants' to provide year after year of world-class cuttings.
Flowering: 50 days
Height: 100-130 cm

California Indica

SEN-calindica

This seed comes from an outstanding strain of California Orange Bud crossed with a top-notch Afghani hash-plant, adding weight, speed and a deep hashy undertone to the deliciously citrus-scented mother. ‘Orange bud’ is sometimes used as a general term for any thick Indica with dense orange hairs, whether or not it has citrus taste and smell. Generic weed should never be confused with genuine California Orange Bud. True Orange strains have been grown outside in the near-perfect cannabis climate of America’s West Coast for many years. Since different lines have been propagated by seed for generations across an enormous area, OB comes in a wide range of fabulous phenotypes, from dominant Sativa to almost pure Indica, depending on the selections made by each cultivator. Profuse orange hairs are normal in every form of California Orange Bud and an irresistible sweet-sharp citrus flavour is the real distinguishing feature of this line.
Sensi’s California Indica is bred from a massive, heavy-yielding Orange Bud mother whose mix of traits leans towards Sativa. The long blooming, open budding tendencies of the Californian have been controlled through breeding with the super-Afghani male used in the creation of Sensi’s Hash Plant seed-strain - our 50/50 HP/NL#1 cross. The resulting hybrid is solid, compact and quick - bringing our California firmly back to the Indica the side of the family while keeping plenty of the original sun-drenched high to lift and illuminate the deep Afghanica body-buzz.
Naturally, the characteristic zesty fruit aroma has been preserved in California Indica, and some individuals are enhanced with the resinous flavour of Hash Plant to produce a rich bitter-orange bouquet that lingers on the palate like a fine liqueur or dark chocolate. The glistening snowfall of trichomes covering buds and trim-leaves is inherited from both parents and is thick enough to allow satisfying amounts of hand-rubbed or sieved hashish to be made from California Indica.

Durban

SEN-durban
This chunky subtropical Sativa is named after the South African port city of Durban and has been the dominant strain of dagga in the surrounding hills and plains for longer than anyone can remember. The genotype is favoured by local growers for yield and dependable, uniform flowering - across the region, thousands of kilos of Durban’s dark, distinctive Sativa buds are produced each year. In her homeland, Durban’s reputation among growers has been earned through a lifetime of first-class results and rock-solid reliability. Sensi Durban captures all these qualities in form that can flourish in temperate north as easily as in the tropical zones. Our acclimatised Durban is one of the purest Sativa seed-strains available today and she's very different from the tall, spindly, extra-sensitive Sativas found closer to the equator. Durban is heavy-branching, robust and even in the worst summer she can produce stunning harvests of sparkling, sticky buds with a distinct lemon-aniseed flavour.
In her land of origin, this strain is known as Durban Poison when grown to her full potential. Naturally, Durban is as non-toxic as every other strain of cannabis, though her unusual power and the immediate rush with which it takes effect have occasionally been known to unnerve less experienced smokers. Many people report a unique effect from Durban which might be described as a ‘narcotic Sativa’. At higher doses it can induce a dreamy, red-eyed high that doesn’t weigh down smokers with the lack of energy or soporific effects common to comparably powerful Indicas.
Flowering: end of September
Height: 150-200 cm
Yield: up to 400 gr

Early Girl

SEN-earlygirl
This reliable, resilient seed-strain is the earliest outdoor Indica in the Sensi collection, aside from our auto-flowering strains. Early Girl has been a trusted name since the Eighties, known for dependably producing fabulous harvests of chunky, sparkling Indica tops in the short northern summers. Early Girl will flourish when given the basic essentials of cultivation, making her the ideal choice for balconies, roof-terraces or conservatories. Virtually any household will have enough room for a few of these beautiful, compact Girls - a metre or two of outdoor floor-space which receives sunlight in the day while staying dark at night is enough for this strain to demonstrate just how easy outdoor growing can be. With access to direct sunlight, regular watering and occasional feeding, Early Girl will do the rest herself, producing columns of fat, sticky, hash-flavoured buds with a smooth, long-lasting buzz.
Afghani and north Indian strains give Early Girl her rugged mostly-Indica features and a delicate Sativa influence is inherited from a distant, high-altitude Mexican ancestor. Early Girl makes her largest buds on a single main stem. Most upper branches stay close, allowing their flower clusters to merge into the central cola. When her lower branches are left unpruned, they may reach almost as high as the main stem by the end of the outdoor season, so that their large, dense tops seem to ‘orbit’ the terminal bud.
Flowering: mid-September
Height: 150-200 cm
Yield: up to 250 gr

Early Pearl

SEN-earlypearl
As the first outdoor Sativa designed especially for shorter summers, Early Pearl has been providing northern growers with luxurious harvests of bulky, trichome-frosted bud for over 20 years. Before the development of early hybrids and acclimatised strains, producing powerful outdoor weed in Holland and similar climates was difficult. Though cannabis can grow anywhere, there was a time when seeds of truly psychoactive strains could only be obtained from imported weed. While often promising in their genetic potential, these seeds, especially the Sativas, had no chance of succeeding in the northern climate. Sensi’s three Early strains were developed and released in the mid Eighties to give cool-climate growers access to the three most important groups of psychoactive cannabis ? Early Skunk, Indica-dominant Early Girl, and Early Pearl to represent the Sativa side of the family. Each of those groundbreaking hybrids has its own advantages, and we would hesitate to choose an absolute favourite. If a choice had to be made, Early Pearl is a very strong contender, as she has the yield and solidity of an Indica, the dazzling high of a Sativa and a vibrant, unstoppable zest for life that’s all her own. Furthermore, the Early Pearl line has proven to be first-class breeding-stock, perfect for adding toughness and stability to other hybrids.
For the largest possible yield, Early Pearl can be started indoors at the end of winter and should be transferred outdoors to a location with maximum exposure to direct sunlight a few weeks after the spring equinox. Allow wide spacing between plants, especially if growing directly in the ground, as these ladies can attain a final height equivalent to a small tree. Except in cases of continuous rain or long periods of below-freezing temperatures at the end of the outdoor season, Early Pearl can be left outdoors to reach full-budded crystal-coated maturity.
Flowering: end of September
Height: 200-300 cm
Yield: up to 400 gr

Early Skunk

SEN-earlyskunk

For excellent results and reliable outdoor performance, Early Skunk could qualify as the best all-round strain in the Sensi Seed Bank collection. She’s tough, fast and amazingly vibrant, able to produce lush, heavy harvests of dank, frosted bud in virtually any climate. Early Skunk brings together the bulk and vigour of Skunk #1 and the outdoor hardiness of Early Pearl in a turbo-charged cannabis hybrid that can grow happily in the garden, on the balcony or in any outdoor location with access to direct sunlight.
It wasn’t so long ago that outdoor growers with short summers were unable to grow Skunks and other powerful hybrids to their full potential. To avoid poor weather at the end of outdoor season (which could cause fungus problems in extra-dense Skunk buds) growers in cool-climates were usually forced to harvest their most exotic plants before flowering reached its peak. Early Skunk was created to address this problem, and has been providing northern growers with the perfect solution to their dilemma ever since. The influence of the Pearl parent allows Early Skunk to finish weeks earlier than Skunk#1 and greatly increases the strain’s resistance to mould and fungus.
Indica features dominate the growth pattern, giving a solid, resin-encrusted flower formation and massive yields. Early Skunk's Sativa side causes some extra 'run' in her thick arms of bud, and is strongly evident when sampled - imparting a smooth, buoyant high which blends with and lifts the warm, powerful Skunk stone, carrying it to new and interesting places.
Flowering: October 1
Height: 200-300 cm
Yield: up to 500 gr

Ed Rosenthal Super Bud

SEN-edrosenthal
The layering of Indica and Sativa qualities in this hybrid is a rare accomplishment. A superb balance of the best traits from each end of the cannabis spectrum has been achieved through expert selection over countless generations. The blend of tropical genes in Ed Rosenthal Super Bud's multi-faceted background is especially wide-ranging, representing Sativas from all around the equatorial zone - Africa, South East Asia, Central America and the Caribbean.
An amazingly succulent flower formation is ERSB's distinguishing feature. Different individuals show extra Sativa or Indica influence through subtle variations in the development and structure of their resin-soaked buds. Otherwise, phenotype variation is small, with a majority of plants flowering at the same speed and increasing their height by about 150%. A small proportion will show a jump at the onset of blooming, which first widens the gaps between internodes and later gives an even greater yield potential.
All females exhibit a flower structure bursting with Indica density that is made even fatter with the running Sativa tendency, resulting in buds that swell upwards and outwards to crazy sizes. A strong and incredibly sweet aroma of pineapple-punch is the dominant flavour across the strain. The Sativa-leaning females make great multi-stem plants and produce huge oval calyxes which spiral into crooked bud-pyramids large enough to bend branches. The Indica phenotype's flowers are distinct and impressive, building into voluptuous columns of snowy bud with main colas as thick as an arm. Their gorgeous snow-covered effect comes from a unique pistil formation - where the oversized antennae sprouting from each calyx are covered with a visible fuzz of tiny hairs - and (as always with a Sensi strain) from a stupendous covering of full-sized resin glands.
Flowering: 55-65 days
Height: 110-140 cm
Yield: 135 gr
