Maple Leaf Indica

SEN-mapleleaf
A relatively new release as a seed, this fat, sticky hash-makers’ plant has long been prized for its sparkling coating of resin glands and syrupy sweet citrus bouquet. Maple Leaf Indica is bred from precious, vintage Afghanica gene-stock – parent plants that have formed part of several important Sensi Seeds hybrids and which represent one of the surviving strains behind original Mazar-i-Sharif hashish. The direct forebears of Maple Leaf Indica were brought out of Afghanistan just before the Soviet invasion and older smokers lucky enough to have visited the region in its peaceful era may find this variety to be a taste – and a blast – from the past. Some of the earliest western references to the Maple Leaf parent strain describe both the plant and the hashish produced from it as “renowned throughout the Hindu Kush and the whole of the Middle East" as the best there is. This strain quickly and easily produces solid buds that drip with crystal and sugary orange-grapefruit flavours. While not the biggest-yielding Afghani in the Sensi collection, Maple Leaf Indica tops the list for resin production and has always been one of our personal favourites.
Flowering: 45-50 days

Marley's Collie

SEN-marleyscollie

Mrs. Rita Marley was the guest of honour at the 1997 Cannabis Cup. Her presence lifted the normally high spirits of the festival to a new level and inspired Sensi to start work on something truly special - a strain of ganja to celebrate the great Bob Marley. For two years, the skills of our breeding staff and research lab focused on a group of superb Jamaican plants selected years before for their delicious tropical qualities. After dozens of experimental crossings, the best Jamaican lady was pollinated with a pure Afghani cultivar from the syrup-sweet Maple Leaf Indica family, producing extraordinary results. From the first tests of the f1 seeds, it was obvious this was a very special hybrid. The fusion of tropical Caribbean ganja and hash-drenched Afghanica genes from the heart of the Hindu Kush gave rise to exotic, exciting plants with massive, running bud structures and bubbling resin production. The spectacular sight of the test plants in full bloom was absolute proof that this was the new strain Sensi was looking for. The rich and unique ‘green oil’ smell of Marley's Collie encompasses the sweet, sharp and spicy notes of her varied ancestry. Bud growth is steady and strong at the outset, and rampant in later stages, when swollen, sticky calyxes suddenly grow in every direction from Marley’s flowers, giving them a spiky ‘meteoroid’ appearance.
Collie buds have strong Indica and Sativa features, providing a delicious burst of flavour and splendid, golden high that warms the body like a beam of sunshine - from the tips of the toes to the frontal lobes.
Note: ‘Collie’ is an old-time Jamaican term for excellent ganja, and the word is said to derive from the name of the goddess Kali – the dark, destructive aspect of Durga who can be seen as Shiva’s female antecedent or counterpart. Indian culture originally brought Kali to the Caribbean, along with cannabis itself, and even the word ‘ganja’. It’s no coincidence that the holy herb is also a sacrament to Ma Kali.

Mexican Sativa

SEN-mexicansativa
The main ancestor and parent of the Mexican Sativa seed-strain is a prized cultivar from the southern province of Oaxaca. To adapt this exotic Sativa for flowering in the northern summer, it was infused with genes from Durban - the famously hardy African Sativa - as well as from a fast-flowering Pakistani hash plant. The best seed offspring were then back-crossed to the Oaxacan line to maintain the distinctive qualities of the original strain. Mexican Sativa fuses the subtle flavours of three continents within her long, delicate buds. Notes of sandalwood and aniseed are wrapped up in the sharp, fresh, resin-tinged scent of the Oaxacan original. Mexican Sativa seeds are ideal for any garden grower who wants an easily cultivated strain, aesthetically beautiful plants and a clear, uplifting Sativa high.

Mother's Finest

SEN-mothersfinest
Upon release, Mother's Finest was an instant hit, winning first place for Sativa at the 2002 HTCC just a few months later. Mother's Finest is more a Hazey offshoot of the Herer line than a direct Jack-descendant. However, just like Jack Flash, Mother's Finest is best understood as a purposeful fine-tuning of Jack Herer’s multi-faceted gene pool. Mother's Finest - with her sweet-sour flavour rush and ecstatic cerebral high - represents the Haze-dominant side of the family Naturally, the most Sativa-leaning examples of Mother's Finest will require the full flowering time, though this is still a considerably shorter period than comparable Haze hybrids. Less frequent phenotypes with a stronger Indica influence can mature in eight weeks. Mother's Finest gains height quickly when blooming, even in her more Indica form, so growers with limited upward space should flower early. Like other mostly-Sativa hybrids, this strain can be put into 12/12 as rooted clones or small seedlings.
The conical bud formation takes shape early in flowering as profuse sprays of long-haired calyxes sprint along the stem and branches to join up the clusters at each internode. In later weeks, the spear-shaped colas expand into impressive lime green stalactites of crystal-smothered bud. Some phenotypes display extra-vigorous production, forcing calyxes into miniature peaks at the top and sides of large buds, giving the main colas a wickedly horned look. Elements of musky, fruity skunk and earthy Afghanica are clearly detectable beneath the sharp pine-Haze aroma of Mother's Finest buds.
Flowering time: 50-70 days
Yield: up to 120 gr.

Mr. Nice G13 x Hash Plant

SEN-mrniceG13
According to weed folklore, the original G13 cutting was rescued from a government research facility by an unknown technician. The word of her liberation spread quickly amongst civilian cannabis-lovers - simply as an inspiring story, initially. However, as that single clone produced further cuttings, which became mother plants and eventually whole flowering crops, smokers were able to sample the earth-shaking Indica potency of the genuine article and G13 rapidly attained the status of living legend. Creating seeds which captured G13's astounding qualities required a very special pollen-father, which was eventually found in Sensi's Hash Plant breeding program. The resulting G13xHP seed-strain, was a limited edition and earned a superior reputation in the few years it was available. In 1999, Sensi Seeds was very proud to bring G13xHash Plant back into production with the new title of Mr Nice, in honour of Howard Marks - cannabis campaigner, author and one-time hashish entrepreneur.
Indica connoisseurs will love the mouth-watering 'double Afghani' bouquet of Mr Nice - dense Indica clusters have a rich, spicy-sweet tang of raw resin glands that blends with dark, earthy undertones. When sampling the stickiest nuggets, the taste of burning trichomes can be strong enough to convince people that they're smoking a mix of hashish and ganja. G13xHash Plant is the ultimate Indica, designed for smokers who enjoy testing their limits and growers who specialise in solid, heavy, ultra-powerful crops. The knock-down ‘body-rush’ Afghanica stone is so perfectly and powerfully expressed by Mr Nice that even Indica-fanatics may have met their match!

Northern Lights #5 x Haze

SEN-nl5xhaze
Opposites collide in perfect hybrid fusion! Northern Lights#5 x Haze balances the finest features of soaring tropical Sativa and voluptuous, earth-shaking Indica. Universally regarded as a high-point in cannabis breeding, many weed scholars consider her unsurpassed, even today. Of all the hugely popular ganja varieties launched in the second wave of hybrid development - including Silver Haze, Shiva Skunk and Silver Pearl - the most successful has always been NL#5xHaze. Her tendency to make a permanent impression on smokers and growers owes a great deal to the fact that her Sativa genes are fully and joyfully expressed, instead of being dominated by the power of her Afghani parent.
Expect significant height gain from NL#5xHaze. Indoor plants can be flowered with little or no vegetation period, which compensates for their extra time in blooming. Rooted clones and even seedlings can be flowered immediately and may go on to exceed 1m by harvest time. Gaps between internodes are quickly filled by long, running colas. At the mid-point of blooming main stem and branches are completely obscured by sticky, profusely hairy buds which then swell in every direction until the end of flowering. It’s quite common for NL#5xHaze to produce terminal buds longer and thicker than a grower’s arm, even at indoor heights. From seed, Northern Lights#5 x Haze produces huge, bountiful, uniform plants and is very easy to clone, producing crop after crop of strong cuttings. Her distinctly psychedelic Haze power is complemented by the yield and crystal of NL#5. Growers who treasure their Northern Lights#5 x Haze mother plants have been known to produce killer harvests for a decade or more with no loss of quality.
Flowering: 65-75 days
Height: 150-180 cm
Yield: up to 150 gr

Northern Lights

SEN-nl
Northern Lights is one of three fundamental breeding strains that have changed the face of global cannabis culture over the last three decades. Apart from Skunk #1 and Haze, no variety comes close to matching Northern Lights’ influence on the world of weed. Whether you’re a smoker, a grower or a breeder, it's more than likely this strain has had a direct effect on your understanding of ganja. Virtually every cannabis enthusiast has, at the very least, had their day brightened by a fat bud of Northern Lights or one of her hybrid descendants. As far back as the Eighties, Northern Lights was setting the standard by which other Indicas are still judged and she remains one of the most trusted names and sought-after varieties in modern cannabis culture. For many years, Northern Lights dominated the various harvest festivals, winning cup after cup, leading to a more than one request that she be retired from competition in order to allow other strains a shot at the title.
Through years of selection and back-breeding between stellar examples of the three original Northern Lights variants, Sensi Seeds has adapted this picture-perfect Afghanica genotype for optimum indoor performance, making the world’s most powerful pure Indica accessible to every grower. Northern Lights is compact, fast and very dense, capable of producing several generous, trouble-free crops per year from seed or clone. Her frosted buds possess a honey-musk aroma blended with an earthy Afghani undertone and a hint of juniper — highly enticing when dried and smoked, yet remarkably understated when growing and flowering. Low odour and easy cultivation combined with big yields and exceptional resin production make Northern Lights the first choice in Indica - for both connoisseur quality and commercial quantity.

Outdoor Mix (25 seeds)

SEN-outmix
The 25 high-quality seeds in this assortment are a random mix of the five Indica varieties from the Sensi Seeds Outdoor collection - Early Girl, Early Skunk, Ruderalis Skunk, Ruderalis Indica and Guerrilla's Gusto - all of which can be grown together with great success. Growers with a good eye for Indica can often identify their favourite breeds soon after the onset of blooming, while first-time cultivators can hone their cannabis-senses and learn lots more through careful observation of the different plants and their subtle variations. The differences in form, flavours and flowering patterns will become more obvious as the outdoor season progresses. This mix of Indica strains provides outdoor growers with a varied yet complementary range of plants for their garden. Starting a good number of seeds from the Outdoor Mix should result in examples of all five strains. The first signs of bud will be seen on the auto-flowering strains - Ruderalis Indica, then Ruderalis Skunk - which will go on to reach maturity earlier in the season. By the time the auto-flowering plants have been cut down, the other Indica-dominant plants should be in full bloom. Fast and beautiful Early Girl will be approaching harvest a few weeks later, followed by the hardy Guerrilla's Gusto. As autumn creeps up on summer, the outstanding Early Skunk and will be at the peak of her resin and flower production, making her ready for harvest in October.

Ruderalis Indica

SEN-ruderalisindica
Ruderalis Indica captures the unique flowering properties of the Cannabis Ruderalis land-race, which grows wild across Eastern Europe. Through breeding with psychoactive Indicas from the south, Sensi has added potency and the result is this hardy, extra-early hybrid that can succeed in almost any environment. Requiring little equipment other than pots, soil and plant food, Ruderalis Indica can reward even first-time growers. C.Ruderalis is noted for the unusual traits which allow it to reproduce in the short summers and very harsh winters of its native lands. Wild Ruderalis seeds can be shed from a female and lie dormant in the soil, surviving freezing temperatures for several seasons before germinating normally. Land-race plants can complete their life cycle with remarkable speed, developing from seedlings into seed-bearing adults in just 10-12 weeks. Most interestingly, C.Ruderalis is an auto-flowering strain, meaning that individual plants bloom according to their age, rather than being triggered to flower by a changing light-cycle. Usually beginning after the 5th to 7th set of true leaves, auto-flowering makes Ruderalis Indica one of the only cannabis strains that can bloom inside the house, when grown by a sunny window. Ruderalis Indica is lower in THC than most hybrids, with a comparatively high proportion of CBD. This means she is an ideal strain for medicinal cannabis users who benefit from the many subtle effects of cannabinoids and prefer not to be overwhelmed by the unsubtle effects of being stoned.
Flowering: September
Height: 150-200 cm
Yield: up to 250 gr

Ruderalis Skunk

SEN-ruderalisskunk
Ruderalis Skunk is the most powerful descendent of Cannabis Ruderalis. By bringing the auto-flowering advantage to Skunk #1’s dependable potency and yield, we have created a tough, rewarding outdoor hybrid for growers with short and unpredictable summers. C.Ruderalis grows wild across north-eastern Europe and is able to survive the harsh and varied climate through adaptations such as its auto-flowering capability. Wild Ruderalis plants flower according to age rather than a declining photoperiod, which allows them to take advantage of the warmest, brightest part of their brief growing season. Ruderalis Indica was bred to be a psychoactive hybrid with features inherited mainly from C.Ruderalis – broad, tough, bushy plants with the full auto-flowering ability – and a much higher THC content than the wild strain. The Ruderalis Skunk breeding program achieved almost the reverse – a Skunk hybrid that retains the potency, yield and vigour of its exceptional family line, inheriting only the unique flowering trait of the land-race. Around 50% of Ruderalis Skunk plants will auto-flower. As with Ruderalis Indica, blooming starts at the 5th to 7th set of branches – typically within 5-10 weeks of germination, depending on how quickly plants are able to vegetate in a given climate. The other 50% of plants grown from seed will react to photoperiod, and will be triggered to flower around the same time as strains such as Early Girl and Early Skunk. This makes it possible for garden growers to have a double harvest each season with Ruderalis Skunk, and also means that photo-reactive plants will generally finish larger and yield more. Ruderalis Skunk conforms to a Skunk growth pattern, gaining slightly more height in blooming than an Indica, without the enormous potential stretch of a Sativa. Auto-flowering individuals will rarely exceed 2m at full size. Flower formation is strong and fast, with thick tops clustering at every internode and extending along stem and branches. Resin production is clearly taken from the Skunk side of the family, covering buds and the single-bladed leaflets which grow from them.
Flowering: September-October
Height: 200-300 cm
Yield: up to 300 gr
